2016 / Pinot Noir
2016 Hop Kiln Estate Pinot Noir
We're excited to release the first Pinot Noir from our Hop Kiln Estate. With three unique soil types, the grapes from this vineyard produce the famous plush and rich style of Pinot Noir of this region.
Harvested from a truly landmark vineyard, which is located on the coveted Westside Road in the Russian River Valley, this unique bottle also features the iconic and historical stone hop kilns which the California Heritage Society have named a historical landmark.

Aromas of lush blackberry, raspberry, with a violet floral note. The palate is fresh with bright raspberry and dried strawberry fruit, rich cherry cola and baking spice with a rounded texture and savory, dried autumn leaf notes leading to a fresh finish with balanced round tannins and sustained fruit and spice.
The 2016 Landmark Hop Kiln Pinot Noir pairs well with a nutty cheese like Manchego with assorted charcuterie or with a grilled lamb chop garnished with shitake mushrooms sautéed with slivers of pancetta.
